Sometimes all it takes is a color change in a room and the students attitudes will change. Joanne talked about having stations. When you use stations in your rooms it makes

In this book, Joanne also talks about how having bigger classes can make you delusional. You may get delusional because you would not know which way to turn because having a lot of students, with different problems, learning different ways is a lot. As a teacher we have the ability with a big class to do many different things. In this class, we may meet students with different individual need but they may also have different talents to bring and make our class even better.

Joanne shows you how the parts of your class can meet up to a measure that is unbelievable. She says that we should give child the freedom to learn and also be guided. If we shows students that our classroom is like their own little home where they have so much opportunity to grow they will succeed. She states through her book that in or to a have a room with a differentiated view you have to use differentiated instruction, teach through the curriculum, and teach to exceptional students.

I enjoyed reading this book because it gave me ideas that I could use. I know now that whenever I have a big class don’t get scared but use it to my advantage. In my room I may have gifted students and students with disabilities but they all can learn.
