Formulate a plan on how you would use clinical epidemiology to guide your opinions and actions on dealing with this issue.

My course of action will focus on measuring and managing the quality of care needed for the people affected by the flood damage. I would put in place a plan that consists of the needs assessment needed to ensure that control efforts of the molds are in the best interest of the community. My course of action could consist of any or all the five following components; ends- identifies the outcome of goals and objectives; means- determines guidelines, programs and procedures utilized; resources- determines the tools needed to execute the plan, how to get tools needed and how to distribute them (Fleming, 2008).

My first step would be to seek out the proper institution that would assist in assessing the needs of the stakeholders. Since I am dealing with a large number of people I am going to implement community health planning, which would consist of many organizations and institutions being involved, but create a working plan that will benefit everyone involved while focusing on control of the mold, and how it affects the community at large. It is essential to assess the exposure developed from the flood damage, implement clean up and prevention method, acquire and allocate personal protective equipment, address all health effects along with public health strategies and recommendations. Mold can cause extensive damage within 48 hours and the exposure can potentially cause harmful results in individuals who are most susceptible without any consideration of the type of mold...
