Having a successful organization takes a lot of work and planning from numerous levels throughout the structure. The leaders play a role as much as the employees that do all the hard labor. Learning to find that balance will determine the relationships and attitudes in the organization. We don’t live in a perfect world and there are different factors that must be taken into consideration.

Individual business decisions can explain deterioration in working conditions in many ways. One can be held to the long lasting or survivability of a company. There are many factors that determine if a business will be successful and all of these have to be taken into account. Selling a product that is high demand and will continue to draw in revenue will help a company survive through the years. A company that sells a product that is not in demand will need to learn how to change and adapt to the growing needs in the marketplace (Robbins & Judge, 2013.) Business decisions to try to expand or even just survive can turn to a reduction in working conditions. They can take away benefits or reduce wages in order to help the company survive the change in direction. In order to increase revenue for a company you can take a few routes. You can increase the output of a product or try to draw in more revenue. Another way is to cut down on your fixed costs in order to compensate for the minimal increase in output. In my mind I can see a business decision of “less is more” can be named the root cause for working conditions.

Business organizations have a responsibility to both their employees and to their shareholders. There are a lot of situations that will determine how much responsibility will be given to employees based on where they work.
