“Should Teenage Girls Be Allowed To Get Birth Control Without The Permission Of Their Parents?"

Teenage girls are perceived to be sexually-active human beings. Thus, it is likely that they will participate in sexual matters with or without the consent of their parents. In this case, there are both pro and cons of the topic at hand.

First, I think that teenage girls should be allowed to get birth control without permission from their parents because they are involved in sexual matters despite of warnings or counseling from their parents. Given the fact that they will participate, it is safe that they obtain birth control without the consent of their parents in order to avoid early pregnancies. In case of early pregnancy, it is positive that their learning will be put to a halt thus affecting their futures.

Second, I think that they should be allowed to get birth control mechanisms without permission from their parents since they are not likely to discuss matters related to sexual-life with their parents. This means that they are likely to engage in the activity since they perceive it to be a private matter affair: access to birth control will only mean that they are aware of unwanted pregnancies while at school.

However, there are disadvantages of letting these teenage girls obtain birth control without permission from their parents. First, there is a likelihood of them choosing negative birth control methods out of ignorance and limited knowledge. This cannot be the case if they had opted to alert their parents of their sexual activities. Second, parents can assist in providing with finance for purchasing of the birth controls hence saving these teenage girls of the hustle involved with sourcing for funds.

To sum up, I vehemently agree to the argument that teenage girls should be left to decide and even embrace the form of birth control they deem fit. This is because the benefits associated with this step are so vast...
