Club IT Part 2

Club IT’s renovations brought upon a profound success with the re-opening in September. The past month has given the owners opportunity to identify three business problems and solutions to the problems to improve the service at the club.

The first problem is the lack of security and cameras in the club. The inventory in regards to alcohol, food, and merchandise is not corresponding with sales reports audited by management. In addition, there is suspicious activity outside of the club, enough to cause concern for the safety of employees, the club itself, and in the surrounding areas including break-ins and robberies to local businesses. This is an area that could be worked on and attention is needed. To resolve the security issues, a security system and high quality cameras are going to be installed by ADT. Employees are going to have access to the club and only to corresponding job-related areas. Each employee will have his or her own access badge to enter the building and a code to arm and disarm the security system. Panic buttons will be placed in special locations for team members to use if needed. The camera system will overlook the interior and exterior of the club and keep close watch over any security breaches.

The added security gives management operational and management control to ease the accessing all points of the business and will ensure not only the building is properly secure, but also to help team members feel a sense of security when he or she is at work. This incorporates ERP to the club by monitoring events, nightly shifts, and the security of the club at the access through the internet for management and required staff. Team members in each department will know they are safe when working at the club before or after hours because entry points will be protected with sensors. The system...
