Learning Team C Analysis
Industries desire to stand out from their competitors by utilizing a variety of concepts and methods that will outlive the profit margin of their rivals. However, one will realize many often use the innovative techniques these businesses apply. As a group, Learning Team C determined the majority of key concepts and differences each company has used in keeping their businesses operating at a stable level.
Most of these companies use functional conflict to reach a profitable scale and company growth that will be comparable to the competition. These partners continue to work out an agreement that will be beneficial to both parties. According to Kreitner, “when you process your conflicts with integrity, they lead to growth, increased awareness and self-improvement.” Boeing Aerospace intends to take its part in “sharing the risk with its partners.” General Motors is another example of a company who utilizes negotiation in their company expansion with United Auto Workers. Although, they have not reached an agreement, both are “opportunistic” in creating a win-win solution in the negotiation process.
Comparatively, all companies that have identified and diagnosed the problem within their company successfully implemented these decisions, but did not suggest if they identified or evaluated alternative solutions. Airbus Industries suggests the use of international outsourcing in order to minimize costs, however, due to political tensions that often debilitate the company, it is considered to be “too early” to look towards this alternative in the immediate future. The solution is identified with many of these companies. The South Florida Sun-Sentinel has identified its Sunday readership and circulation being the highest newspaper in the state.
