Some things that mankind destroys the Earth - cuts the trees, pollutes the air and kills the wildlife; others think that humans make the Earth a better place to live by developing it. What is your opinion?

I think that making the Earth a better place by developing it is the worthy and proper goal, but the ways that are used to achieve this goal have to be chosen with great care and reason. It's important to realize that all projects to improve the quality of the human existance couldn't be executed if these projects threaten the natural world, ecological balance, pristine environment, etc.

Every smallest unreasoned action that can mankind takes could initiate environmental change and harm. For example, one of the risks to the environment presented by coal is climate change, but mining for the valuable resource endangers local ecosystems as well. We need to remember that coal is used to generate a lot of electricity, but is a fossil fuel that produces vast amounts of carbon dioxide emissions. Next unreasoned mankind action is deforestation. There was a time, not that long ago, when the majority of the land on this planet was covered in forests. Plenty of the planet's land animals and plants live in forests and the loss of their homes damage the existence of an untold number of species. There are just two of the destractive actions of mankind, though such kind of actions which harm the planet a more numerous.

Instead of doing all unreasoned acts to rise amount of green issues, we can walk or bike to our destinations and decrease our usage of cars. It's easy to use public transportation as much as possible. Every man in this world is able to plant a single tree and there would be millions more trees, and the air would be much cleaner. Even better things to support the environment are saving water and energy, collecting waste paper and sorting garbage.
