ATV stands for “All-Terrain Vehicle”. It is a vehicle that travels on low-pressure tires with a seat that is straddled by the operator with handlebars control. As the name implies, it is designed to handle a wider variety of terrain than most other vehicles.

Group E of Marketing Management decide to open the ATV dealership in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We have did research about the Winnipeg, 1.2 million people live in Winnipeg. Winnipeg have the very bad winter weather and a lot of snow, the ATV could be useful for the people live out of the town during the winter time. The number of registered ATVs in Manitoba increasing by an astounding 700% in the span of a decade, from 3150 in 1998 to 22,111 in 2008.

And for recreational purpose, Winnipeg has a lot f remote areas and a lot of hunters and farmers out and ATV could be used reguralery in daily life. With lots of open land available around here. 

Third, a lot of young families with good disposable income who will be willing to spend money to make their spare time fulfilled with adventure experience.

From a competition points, Winnipeg city have only one big ATV dealership as compare to other cities like Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver etc. This will give us the opportunities to avoid competition.

Our target market would be the farmers, recreationalists, rural resident, parking patrols and RCMP.

Financing might be the issue for starting new business. We have to make good strategy plan as we all know that it will be hard to finance the new business as compare to acquisition of running business.

One of the major focuses will be on the safety and legal rules for riding the ATV in Winnipeg. We will provide the safety guideline and MPI published Safety tips to our customers. We will make sure our customers are aware of all the rules and regulations related to ATV ride.
