Executive Summary

The main idea being researched for this project is weighing the benefits of pursuing an advanced degree either immediately or establishing a career first. Once undergraduate studies are completed, obtaining an advance degree is an option to be assessed. In the current economy and how our society has progressed, all types of careers are requiring additional education.

The purpose of this study is to research and explore all options when deciding on whether to do post-graduate work while also examining exactly what is necessary to be accepted by programs. This study will also examine what is expected out of a post-graduate student after being accepted into a program. One major deciding factor is finances. With this high of an investment, all aspects must thoroughly research to answer the when and where regarding the future upon undergraduate graduation.
