Steve Jobs was a successful leader, entrepreneur, and visionary; he fell considerably short of the qualities possessed by the very best leaders. He worked hard, and chose the right people to work with him. His visionary leadership and charisma was evident in his on-stage presentations of Apple's newest products and strategic direction.

I think Barack Obama is an effective leader because he can negotiate with world leaders in a peaceful way yet be strong when he needs to be. Obama is working for a change in middle and lower class. Whether or not you like his politics, there is something to be said about President Barack Obama's ability to thrive in the midst of controversy. Whether or not you like where he's taking the country, there is something about a presidential leadership style that takes hit after hit, but keeps going in the face of massive opposition. I believe it is due to his preparation and planning while facing problems, passion, and perseverance.

I think out of the seven competences, my strongest competency is diversity. I accept changes easily and I am able to adapt and learn in different situations quickly.  I believe I can learn valuable lessons from my experiences and from the experiences of others. At work, I prefer listen to people before making decisions, I believe it is very important to understand all sides that impacts in the environment work. I love challenges, which in somewhat explains why I have chosen to do my MBA in United States instead of in my country.
