More Shootings in Mantua!

Just one week ago the body of Tybalt, nephew to Capulet was found slain here in Verona. The son of Montague, Romeo, had slain him and was banished by the Prince. However, just yesterday the bodies of Romeo, Juliet and the County Paris were found dead in the tomb of the Capulet’s.

The young page of Paris called the Watch when his master met with a man (now known to be Romeo) and drew on him and started to fight. The page, fearing for his master’s life, then ran for the Watch. It is believed that whilst the Watch was being summoned the most tragic deaths pursued. It is now known, that Romeo and Juliet had secretly married by Friar Lawrence and hoped that they could be together somehow, despite their parents feud. Juliet’s father then, with no idea about his daughter’s newlywed, arranged a marriage for her daughter to marry Paris. Juliet obviously, did not want to marry Paris so she needed a plan to stop the marriage and so went to talk with Friar Lawrence. Whilst at the Friar’s cell, he told her of a potion, one that could make her appear dead but in fact be in a deep sleep. The plan consisted of her later waking up and the lovers running away together. Friar Lawrence would be waiting for her to awake, as he did not want her to be scared waking up in a tomb of bodies, including her loved cousin, Tybalt. In spite of this, Romeo had not...
