Communication, as a whole, is a very crucial part of the world and our lives. Most people do not understand how important it is and don’t know the significance of it. It has been around since the beginning of time, in some form, and has progressed and shaped throughout the many years we, as beings on earth, use it.

Communication is everywhere, and without it, human life would be non-existent. It is extremely relevant in our everyday lives, both verbally, and non-verbally, and has advanced greatly as we continue to move forward technology wise. Radios, phones, televisions and computers are only a few of the things that we have created to enhance the way we communicate with each other. When these little mechanisms were invented our civilization changed for the best, as they have made the everyday lives of humans immensely easier. With the help of those devices we have been able to network, spread ideas, and promote much more effectively and efficiently. Although some rely on them to a point where they begin to lack good communication skills when talking to other people.

Good communication is the key to a good relationship, not just romantic relationships, but ones with your family, friends, co-workers, etc. If we communicate well with the people around us, then we are able to better understand their feelings, wants, needs, expectations, and more. Likewise, for them to understand how you’re feeling. Good communication comes with being able to comfortably talk to whomever you’re trying to communicate with, and also being able to take in and process what they are saying to you. When people feel they have been understood, they feel as if you value them or the point they’re trying to make, and that is a feeling everyone desires. Being able to communicate well isn’t just the key to a good relationship, but also the key to success.
