Babysitting Contract

It is my goal to provide your child with a safe environment that nurtures self-esteem and security. I encourage you to discuss expectations they have and/or want for their child and myself. I am always open to supporting your preferred methods for caring for your child.

Our normal day is semi-structured with individual activities, structured activities, supervised free time, and supervised outdoor play (weather permitting).

Days & Hours of Operation:

An arrival time, pick up time, and weekly rates will be established. I can be flexible with advanced notice and understand that occasional emergencies happen, but I ask you to respect the agreed upon pick up time as closely as possible so that my family can maintain our dinner, family time and bedtime routine. I do not offer overtime past my hours of availability, as I am committed to other activities and family time directly after my hours of availability for babysitting.

Since babysitting your child is my source of income, the agreed upon pay rate will include full pay for holidays and any days your child is unable to come for any reason.

Parents should notify me if they will be bringing children later than normal or not at all. This just helps keep my routine running smoothly. If a parent is over an hour late dropping a child off in the morning I will call and attempt to locate you to make sure everyone is safe. It is best if you can call me when you will be late.
