Phase I: Capital Shortage

Given the chance to run a hospital, I would make the following changes to meet financial difficulties. The first thing I would change would be to the health benefits that we currently have, Yes everyone is entitled to have good health care, but I feel that even if we could down size the cost we pay every month without really making any big changes to the coverage this would be better then just doing without health care. Health plans charges often change every so often it would also benefit the employee that we compare the prices to make sure that we are currently receiving the best coverage that we can as a company. Another way the we could save money would be to reduce agency staff normally through this type of agency they will only focus on providing you help for a short period of time .One other disadvantage is that these agency do not require that there employees go through a hiring process. Which can cost the company more in having to hire a new person and training them if the agency worker does not work out. Not to mention that a agency worker is entitled to more then a regular worker is.

I would choose total interest paid out this way we would only be charges for what we have not paid. The outcome of my decision would be to save money for my organization while still maintaining the needs of the employees. After all in order to run a successful company one needs to meet need of there staff and clients without choosing cost over the quality of service that we are choosing. One should start by making smalls changes and get a feel for how the staff as well as the patients will react to those’s changes.
