This site is mainly to enable people to share valuable information with others about their condition through patient experiences and provide data to help people make educated choices. You can search the website by patients, treatment, or symptom. If you search your symptom it will tell you how many patients have reported that they suffer from this symptom, the different treatments reported, and how many people use the treatment for that condition. If you search by treatment for example a specific drug, it tells you what symptoms it treats, most common side effects reported, how many patients took it for what reason, efficacy, and much more information. This website is all about data and patient experiences. How people are coping with their condition, how many people share your condition, and true data on patient’s progress. This website is very much a support group.

Mymedpages

This site is intended to help patient’s find a doctor. The patient would need to select a therapy; this site only offers 7, and search by zip code or state. This populates a physician listing, in order from closest proximity to farthest. It provides the name, address, and phone number of the physicians. It also has links to maps, driving direction, and an interactive discussion guide that will provide helpful information to the physician regarding their medical history and current condition. There is also links to success stories and to tame the pain website.

This website is very similar to patients like me. This is a website for people who suffer from chronic pain. It offers information on pain specialists including support and advice, information about chronic pain and treatment options, regular emails with patient stories and tips, links to resources for coping with chronic pain, and seminars and teleconferences about chronic pain and treatments.
