September 1943 to May 1945 For the German forces to surrender, they have to arrange and command an attack to Sicily and to campaign on the mainland of Italy.
There were a total of 320,000 casualties and in Italy, the Axis forces retreated and surrendered.
Normandy June 6 to mid july 1944 To give the Germans the wrong information about the place and date of the attack. An Allied campaign all around Western Europe began.
A foothold in France was secured.
Liberation of Paris
Aug 19,-Aug 25 1944 To obtain Paris and its freedom
This battle marked the liberation of Paris and the exile of the Vichy government to Sigmaringen in Germany.

May 4-8 1942 To oppose the Japanese offensives, the US sent two Navy Carrier task forces as well a combined Australian-American cruiser forces. These were under the command and supervision of American Admiral Frank J. Fletcher.
To oppose Japan’s move of taking Port Moresby, New Guinea; the United States sent in their two aircraft carriers. This was when the Battle of the Coral sea happened.
Japan forces were forced to call off their invasion of New Guinea,
