JVA Corporation Simulation

The purpose of this proposal is to provide a review of the guidelines of performance management within JVA Corporation and includes proposed changes to such guidelines. This includes review of requirements of each employee, review of compensation packages, as well as evaluation of commission packages, expenses covered, perks and the necessity of onsite amenities that are currently provided. This proposal has encompassed close review of the mission and goals of JVA Corporation including the foundation of performance management systems, the method of how appraisals will be conducted, and the implementation of new guidelines in order to ensure that JVA Corporation continues to meet their strategic goals and profitability in the future.

The methods addressed in this proposal were based on a continuous system of review. This enables JVA Corporation and its employees a clearer perspective of performance. Due to the existing and ongoing economic crisis, it is vital that JVA Corporation maintain a continuous system of review in order to remain competitive and to decrease the net margin of loss that was incurred in the amount of 53 million in the past fiscal year. Employees of JVA Corporation have enjoyed the many perks and benefits in prior years; however in order to maintain this level of compensation and amenities, this continuous system must be analyzed.

JVA Corporation currently disperses approximately 8% of its revenue to cover the cost of compensation in addition to salaries of employees at an estimated 150,000 employees in just the United States sector of the corporation. The foundation of JVA Corporation is their reputation of providing for its employees; however, JVA Corporation will initiate a 3% decrease in compensation targeting a percentage of employees that receive benefits.
