Advertising a product on the television and internet is a great way to sell a product. There are many commercials that are effective in selling a product to the consumer. By using the right music and visual concepts are great tools in selling products. Companies will spend millions of dollars to have their commercial advertisement during the super bowl. There are millions of people watching this game, but there are many people who enjoy watching the commercials. The key is to find a way that an advertisement will stick in the consumers head, and they will decide to make the purchase. Since, many people watch TV and spend time on the internet; there are many opportunities to target the correct market when selling a product. Here is how the manufacture is promoting their product for the Xbox 360, and how they effectively target their products to their market segmentation.

The commercial that I selected is for the Xbox 360. This product has taken off with leaps and bounds, and here is the commercial that I reviewed:

The benefits are providing a product that the entire family can play. Also, this is a great way to get off of the sofa and interact with friends and family in a game that is fun for everyone. For marketers, the first step is turning that awareness into action by stimulating purchase (Greenberg, 2011). This is a benefit because the consumer can move around and get some exercise doing something that is active. Another benefit is having the ability to have other family members and friends interacting with each other and having the ability to join in on the fun. The competitors like Wii offer games that give each player the chance to move around, but the graphics on the Xbox seem to be more appealing.
