The explosion of technology and revolution in the business environment has increased the importance of human resources in the must have it now world. The major challenges facing human resources developed from this height of human resource activities to a center strategic function.
The most important challenge facing human resource is to getting the right people ready for the right time and at the right place.
The increase in technology and globalization has guaranteed level fields for businesses with accessibility to technology, information, and access to finance. The human resources of an business, until now was considered as just another source like land or capital, is now the main person in firms and is the critical source of competitiveness gain (Kapoor, 2011).
Although the accessibility to labor frequently goes above the availability of open positions, skills that makes the difference has always stayed in short supply. The growth in competitiveness among organizations guarantees that finding new ways to increase the volume of talent in the organization continues to be the main challenge facing human resources. The very existence of many information-centric businesses in fact relies on the ability of the human resources department to hire and keep the right ability (Lawler, 1988).
Holding on to existing talent is easier than hiring new employees, and as struggle increases among businesses, human resources are looking at which ways to keep talent. They are looking at an intervention which includes custom-made reward packages and special benefits, job improvement, independence, improved working conditions, and more (Collin, Ericksen, Allen, 2005).
