1.1 Introduction

SMRT (Singapore Mass Rapid Transit) Corporation Ltd is a public transport operator incorporated on 6 March 2000, as a result of an industry overhaul to form multi-modal public transport operator in Singapore. SMRT Corporation is the second largest public transport company in Singapore followed after ComfortDelGro. SMRT Corporation was listed on the Singapore Exchange as a holding company since 26 July 2000. SMRT mainly operate rail, bus and taxi. Besides that, SMRT also operate other public transport service via several wholly owned subsidiaries.

SMRT business is structured around the following units:

2.1 Decision making

Decision making is the process that choosing the most suitable or good alternative from a several choices. Decision making will produce a final result and that final result reflects the decisions are made were good or bad.

Decision making involve in every people lives every day every second, “Which brand or soft drink you want to drink? Which shirt should I were today?” all of them are problem and they solve them with decision making. But those are some only some simple decision that can make by anybody, there are decision that only can be made by some selected or limited in a certain individual because they have the knowledge and experience....
