The Secret

In this movie it is defined that “The Secret” to life is the law of attraction, which are attracted based upon your thoughts whether you like it or not. What the mind manifests the universe will make it happen. Be positive or negative that thinking would only push things to happen.

Although there is a lot of sense in it, I still find it hard to believe. Thinking of negative thoughts would make you cautious at some point but it would also include worrying, now if you’re cautious enough and avoid something reckless surely you could avoid negative things to happen. Another is thinking positively. This might not apply to obtaining objects but certainly it can apply to your experiences in life. I grew up being taught that not all things in life are free and that you work hard for what you want and not just look at pictures and wait for the heavens to give it to you. But when you think about good thoughts and start your day with it then indeed you would have positive incidents in life.

Now there is what they call the 3 step process. Ask, Answer, and Receive. I may find this true because at some instances in my life it was like the universe set it up for me. Odd things have happened and there were some that I truly asked for and it seemed like it was really meant for me. But there are some weird and incomprehensible parts. Like you don’t need words to ask the universe is already picking up your thoughts and that you have to be aligned with the universe. How would one know that he is aligned with the universe? I know it is not something to be taken literally but surely it is quite unfathomable.

The movie is somehow not suggesting that every thought that comes into your mind can be manifested but instead it can be of influence over the incidents in life. There is an underlying thought to everything that a person does, there is emotion. The process is one that truly starts from within which are the feelings but the life of an individual is still up to...
