Pechanga Casino has an opportunity to improve its image in the community while helping out an extremely dire cause. The American Red Cross is in its own state of emergency with their blood supplies almost depleted. The need for blood donations is here and now and are asking your community to stand up and help save lives. Just imagine your best friend having to go into emergency surgery and needed a blood transfusion to stay alive and it was that donated blood that saved your best friend’s life. Your best friend, a mother of three, now has a chance to watch her children grow up, go to college and one day marry. It was because of a stranger that took that fifteen minutes out of their day and donated their blood that has not only saved her life but so many others.

A single pint of blood can help save the lives of four different people but the catch is that donated blood only last for 72 hours. So as a nation that is in an emergency they are asking our establishment to open our doors and sponsor a Red Cross Mobile Blood Drive. I organized our successful Toys for Tots drive last year and feel very confident that I can help organize the hosting and handle the promotion of this blood drive to ensure a smooth process. Please don’t hesitate to call me today and start working out all the details with Red Cross.

Blood donors must be at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. They need to be hydrated, fed and well rested before donating blood. We can make sure we advertise this for the blood donors. We would just ask for you to provide water, orange juice and snacks for the donors during this drive as a gesture of support to the community. I know this will show donors that you are behind this effort to help our nation in this state...
