Change

Look at the state of our world, doesn’t it seem chaotic or out of balance? The sad truth is it really is. We can’t help but see our society slowly deteriorating and no progress. The reason for this is our lack of initiative - to be a catalyst of change. Human beings are continuously seeking for improvement. And with change comes improvement.

Change as defined by Webster is “to make different something in particular”. In order to do this we need to act. Act against things that seem unjust. Change coupled with action will lead to a progressive society. Even though this is the case many resist change may be for the reason that its result would not be good or is beneficial. Nonetheless we need to overcome this and accept change. Being not anxious of the results it might bring. The reason that change is inevitable, we can’t stop it from happening Let’s use poverty as one of the results for the lack of change, if a certain person wouldn’t do something to change the status of his life, he will not be able to improve his way of living. Another would also be unemployment, if someone would just be sitting and doing nothing to find a job, he will be stuck in his place. Just a like car, a car will not be able to travel without fuel same as a person that cannot move on with his or her life without a fuelled goal. And that goal will be to see a better world, because change would not only benefit today but also the future generation. Change must be initiated by us so that others will be influenced also to change. To do this, we must start changing the bad habits that we have or those things that make us less effective. One way would be to Have a very positive outlook in life or be optimistic, just seeing the good side of every situation and having the will to counteract against things that doesn’t seem right. Others would really be encouraged to follow the things you have done, once they see its effect on you.

So start change to improve the world and not only ourselves. Let...
