Personal Responsibility
Personal responsibility is a trait required for completing tasks and meeting goals.
Without personal responsibility a person can lose integrity.
The most important reason personal responsibility is a trait required to complete tasks and meet goals is if a person does not have personal responsibility to him or herself, tasks and, goals will not be met.
It is my belief personal responsibility is to be responsible for my actions, which includes reaping the consequences of my actions. I also have to understand how my actions affect people around me. An example of personal responsibility is doing the best job possible when assigned tasks and goals.
If I did the minimal just to be able to complete the task and did not try to do the best job possible or to complete the task within a set timeframe, I could lose my job. The consequence of losing my job would be added stress to my family and me, lack of money to pay bills, buy food, or pay the mortgage. The actions at my job would have the following effect on people at the jobsite: They would have to do extra work not normally required of them to make up for loss of manpower, this would in-turn have an effect on their families because the added overtime and added responsibilities. My family would be affected because of the added stress of me not working and wondering how to make ends meets. There would also be added stress to me because of having to come up with a solution to the financial obligations as well as trying to find a job.
I believe the relationship between personal responsibility and college...
