Riordian’s concern for improving profit and productivity will rely on sales and performance of its employees. The company’s Chief Executive Officer is coming to realization that employee motivation is important to increasing sales and performance records. The company has to discover a few key concepts that will assist in making decisions on improving employee motivation and dedication. Hwelett Packard, Coca Cola, Procter and Gamble, and David Weekley Homes all display compensation issues that require overview and reconstruction.

Each organization uses key concepts to determine the plan of action to take to improve customer morale, sales, and profit margin goals. Employee motivation is one of the most important concepts because it will assist the company in retaining top notch talent as well as increasing revenue, and managing employee turnover. Each company has to discover ways to increase employee performance levels by paying for performance and supplying employee’s personal needs. To do this a total compensation package is the best solutions for these organizations

Effective Response

After reviewing each company’s issues and resolutions a collective agreement suggests that each company’s resolutions are effective. Not every company issue has the same resolution however certain ideas from each company can be beneficial to Riordian’s issue. Riordian problem decrease in sales and performance can be resolved by using many of the ideas concepts that other organization use on a daily basis. By creating a total compensation package for employees and pay for performance incentives Riordians’ goal to increase motivation and morale within the workplace will be effective.
