1. Describe your ideal study environment.

My ideal study environment is a place where I can relax and read over the information I need to know. It’s where I can listen to music where studying because music helps me study a lot better because if it’s too quiet then I don’t retain as much information as possible.

2. List some of the distractions that might hinder your study progress or your performance in an online classroom.

Some distractions that might hinder my study progress might be checking my email, texting, checking Facebook, searching for things not related to my assignments, my son needing me, noise, not getting good grades on tests, not getting my assignments turned in on time, and talking on the phone for a lengthy amount of time.

3. What actions can you take to manage and eliminate distractions?

Some actions you can take to manage and eliminate distractions are turning off email notifications, using headphones to block out unwanted noise, making a do not disturb sign, clearing workspace clutter, clearing computer clutter, handling interruptions, have time set aside for distractions, screening your calls, or work when there is no one else around to bother you.

4. How will you apply your personal learning style? How does your personal Learning style affect your study habits?

I can apply my personal learning style by looking at what I am working on and saying it out loud so I can hear and better understand and remember it. My personal learning style affects my study habits by allowing noise to be around instead of it being quiet. Saying things out loud allows me to commit it to memory.
