Introduction

Every human on this earth may have similar physical appearance but they have difference in their personality. Personality is an inherent tendency to behave in a particular manner. On the other hand we can say that human personality is explained and judged through his/her behaviour. Today, there are real concerns related to the behaviour of people especially students behaviour in classroom because the status of relationships, educational performance and their present and future chances of future and life depends on their behaviour. From research we found that most students in classroom exhibit behavioural problem. A student may have a behaviour problem for many reasons. Behavioural problems often reflect an effort to express a need or fear, or they are trying to avoid something unpleasant. Behaviour problems can be aggressive, threatening behaviour, apathetic, or overactive withdrawn.

In every classroom there are boys and girls who cause disturbances or are difficult to handle. This is why the behaviour management in the classroom has become topic of interest and concern to all who are dedicated to teaching. Therefore in this paper I am going to discuss how to manage their behavioural problems in classroom. Initially, some strategies to deal with student’s behavioural problem linking it to behavioural theories will be discussed. In addition, some strategies will be discussed that will help pupils in organising in different setting and the impact of their strategies on pupils academic performance will also be evaluate. In the end I shall be discussing management strategies for pupil with EBD and other behavioural needs. The purpose of writing this paper is to let readers know about the importance of classroom behaviour strategies and their impact on academic performance.
