Hello class of (2016, 2015, 2014). I’m James Tamboles and I am running for your 2013-2014 First Vice President for Sga Board. If I get elected, I promise to do everything I possibly can to make next year the best. I feel as if I am the best candidate for this position because I am an accountable, determined, hard-workng student who has experience on what this position requires and I feel as if I can take on these responsibilities doing anything in my power to fulfill them. Being vice president of my junior year and having many other opportunities to be a leader of different types of clubs in our school I know what it takes to have this title. By taking part in many other clubs, I know for a fact I can carry out the position of Vice President as well. By balancing out my school work, friends, and family, I have learned how to multitask teaching me responsibility. I have been involved in student government ever since my freshman year, and since then have been a part of almost all of our schools major events. I have the confidence to come in front of all of my fellow classmates and make this speech showing my ambition and dedication towards this job, which is truly something I want to pursue. I know in order to be the best candidate for this position I must recognize when it’s time have fun and when it’s time to put my foot down and get things done. I do not wish to be looked at as someone who you think will not be right for the position, but rather as a qualified individual who you know will be the right choice. I’m currently a part of the leadership class that is offered here at Nova which has helped me to become familiar with the different jobs and responsibilities that this position requires. I hope to bring new creative ideas to the table and make (our last year/my last and your years to come) more enjoyable. So do what‘s right and vote for me, James Tamboles, for your 2013-2014 First Vice President!
