Teamwork is a part of our human being nature. From the very beginning, people interacted with each other, held meetings, made decisions in order to achieve one and the same goal – to get food, to protect themselves from enemies, to produce, etc. I have always enjoyed working in a team. It all started with participating in several sport and music activities in college including dodgeball, volleyball and a choir. At that time I realized that communication was a key component toward a team success, toward achieving an objective. Later, I got involved in many challenging team projects at the university. Needless to say, each and every team project I have participated in helped me develop a different set of skills: the ability to listen, to motivate others and just enjoy being together and working together following the same goals and bringing to the team the better of ourselves.

I would like to share one of the most challenging and at the same time rewarding experiences I have had in my life working with a team. Two months ago one of my old friends, Maxim, a very talented programmer, who currently resides in Amsterdam and runs his own software development company, offered me to participate in his project. Maxim’s team has developed the world's first tool that enables recruiters and line managers to screen CVs on the iPad – Cureka. I was very excited to listen to Maxim’s story on Cureka, its concept and his first success in software development business. I agreed to become a part of that challenging project and was put in charge of creating the introductory video for the application that implied a lot of teamwork and coordination. Maxim told me that my part of the project was very important and should be completed as soon as possible.

Thus, my mission was to create a video that would introduce a new application to the market and help customers get a general idea on how to use it efficiently in the work routine. That demanded a lot of effort from my part since in a...
