Introduction

Time have change, were employers before would commit to their employees, and give them a secure job were they would retire within their time perform in their job, now days it is uncertain as of who could hold a job, and needless to say if the employer hire you as a full time employment or a temporary employment. With companies downsizing and moving out of state the work environment is very uncertain. Every day it becomes harder and harder to find a job and for those who have one, trying to keep it is there goal. Job security is what every employee would like to have secured but nothing is secured in life.

Thinking critically and making decisions are important parts of today’s business environment. It is important to understand how the decision making process works. By using various methods and tools to assist in making important business decisions an individual can ensure the decisions they make will be as successful as possible. Decision making process can be followed using various tools and techniques to make successful business decisions by using these same tools and techniques during a thinking critically business scenario.

More and more each day we are seeing deterioration in the work environment, however staff and employees are force to do the jobs that they are forecast to do even thought the environment is tough every day. Despite efforts to improve the work environment from legislation like OSHA, illnesses and disability at work from many causes are on the rise. Part of this is due to the processes of globalization - the steadily increasing inter-dependency of world economics, production, trade, technology and culture – which is having an enormous impact on work.
