Many companies are made up of different departments like finance, customer service, sales, accounting, operations, and marketing. The objective is to propose improvements to the sales department at Kudler Fine Foods. The request is for upper management to reconsider the sales department’s current management program and implement a new program. We begin the request in the sales change management program by discussing why this change is needed and the opportunities that will come with change. The next step includes include descriptions of each dimension of change management including how the four functions fit each situation. Third I will focus on the project management summary explaining the approach and clarify how to actually manage the suggested change. The final step includes the support for the change by discussing the expectation of the (ROI) return on investment.

Need for Change

A change management program will assist Kudler Fine Foods in ensuring that the change is managed appropriately (Leban & Stone, 2008). Upper management should be involved in communication of change management; this promotes unity and makes sure everyone is working towards the same objective. Management also needs to agree with the necessity for change because acceptance starts at the top. This also makes the acceptance of change easier for other employees and stakeholders. Because the sales department is not currently working properly at Kudler Fine Foods, change is required. Currently the organization is unhappy the sales performance pertaining to is unique food and wine sales. The sales department is also failing in the area of increased wine appreciation class registration.

Management would like to see an increase in each area of sales; they would also like to see increased satisfaction levels. These increases would be pleasing to the owner and upper management. Because the products...
