A class being conducted online instead of on campus decrease the class’s contribution to the carbon cycle. Students don’t need to travel to the class so that cuts down on the amount of pollution let out by vehicles, Less gasoline is being consumed because there is less driving required by an online course. The schools facilities are also being used less so in return there is less water and electricity being consumed, if there is less classes onsite the schools operation cost would be reduced as well. Another resources we use less of is paper online work saves many trees from being cut down to make paper.by offering online classes you cut down on fuels being used to get rid of all that garbage or to recycle. By taking the quiz above I learned that by turning off the water while we shower or brush are teeth we can significantly cut down on your household’s water consumption. Also by changing you light bulbs to florescent lights. We can save money and energy, My footprint in global acres by consumption is 253.14 that means that I would need 6.52 earths to maintain my lifestyle so its obvious that drastic changes have to be made I could never think that just my family alone can cause that much harm to earth, changes have to be made in the way we consume are resources if were not careful earth can soon lose its resources with out them it would make it Impossible to live on earth, like Easter island for example with out trees or vegetation it made it unsustainable with out oil, water, trees earth would not exist we need fuel to power our cars, are homes heat relies on energy with out there is no life.
