Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present some of the corporate responsibility issues and how companies succeed to address complex sustainability issues as mentioned by Svendsen and Laberge in their article Convening Stakeholder Networks : A new way of thinking, being and engaging.
Added to this, the theoretical framework of this paper, identified in the case study, Nike : the organic exchange in order to clearly understand why some organisations must respond to the changing context in « innovative ways ». In addition, Ethics of the external constituencies of the corporation theories are used as well.
The paper concludes that through builded stakeholder networks, companies are capable to both harmonize their social values towards their stakeholders and resolve complex ethic issues.
