1) Case Questions for Discussion:

a. Strategic Mission: To make and sell consumers the highest quality grass seed and fertilizer available.

b. Strategy: A major goal for the company would be to level up with competitors in expanding their market to explore residential lawn-care application services along with parks and golf courses.

c. Competitive priorities: Making sure the consumer understands why they have the best product and the difference between their product and the product sold by competitors.

e. Order qualifiers and winners: The fact that they make the best and highest quality product available. Currently this company is running at a minimum performance level for customer satisfaction.

2) Lawn Care could always benefit by selling instructions along with their product and having a support system available for the consumers. Because they do not deal with or handle the application process of the product having an online or over the phone support system could help the consumers better understand what type of product they are buying and how to use this product effectively. By serving a multitude of customers having a rewards package could benefit them. Re-occurring customers would be able to get better rates and prices and thus this would give them incentives to continue to shop from them.
