Human resource management is the strategic coherent approach to management of the organization mostly valued asset individually or correctively, they contribute to the achievement of the objectives.
Personnel management is a set of activity concerning the workforce which included staffing, payroll, contracture obligation and other administrative tusks.
The different between Human Resource Management and personnel management
* Human Resource Management concentrates on the planning , monitoring and controlling aspects of resources, WHILE
Personnel Management is largely about mediating between the manager and employees; it deals more with the workforce of an organization so human resource management is beyond the work of personnel manager.
* Personnel was the system of management which used at the early time, it was under 19th century, where the manager of the firm or factory was the person who ensuring an employee’s welfare, WHILE
Human Resource Management was introduced by the first people so as to secure management of the firm /organization for the objectives of maximizing the Return On Investment [ROI] on their resources, that’s they decided to develop personnel management to human resources management so as to ensure the fulfillment of the management and objectives.
