Introduction

This report contains my experience of eHow and feedback after visiting it and conclusion.

The Experience with eHow.com

One day I was bored so I tried googling to find some interesting websites. Luckily, there was a website that linked to a lot of special websites. The one that caught my attention was eHow.com, a free portal that I can get answers from to solve my problems from daily lives.

There are more than two million articles and videos, which involves different aspects, such as home, style, health and money, which are expert advice. I can look for the information not only through its website, but also through its mobile app. Moreover, I can share my experiences and get feedback from its facebook, blog, twitter and Spark etc.

Due to Internet technologies change over time, eHow are keeping up to date with the latest technologies. For example, it introduces video to provide help visual instructions for home repair projects and more in 2007. In 2009, it has its first mobile website which is designed to help consumers access how-tos from their phone. Then it releases an app for the iPad in 2011.

Its revenue derives from attracting audience of visitors who can then be exposed to advertisements. According to Rosen (1999, para. 1), ‘eHow.com joins top sites driving Traffic & Paying only for results with Be Free's Groundbreaking cost-per-click and cost-per-lead services’ Rosen (1999, para. 3) states that it use LeadRunner to promote content, services, subscriptions or tools and pay affiliates a bounty for every lead or click they generate.

The Feedback After Visiting eHow

There are several reason that eHow.com keeps attracting me to visit. Firstly, the wide diversity of category makes me keep interesting in reading its article or watching its video.
