1,. There is a new or renewed interest in the field of project management because every industry and every country mange projects

2. A project is a temporary task to create a product or service. A project is different from what people do in their day to day jobs because it’s provides a unique purpose, it’s temporary, and requires resources. The triple constraint I based off of the scope, time, and cost. The scope is the main focus, the time is your deadline, and cost is your budget.

3. Project management is knowing the necessary skills and tools to meet the project’s requirements. Stakeholders are the customers, staff, clients, or even users who are involved or affected by the project. Project management knowledge areas are the main skills needed by project managers such as management of time, cost, scope, quality, and integration. Project management tools and techniques help project managers and team complete the project while using the knowledge areas.

4. A program is several projects put together that allow you to make things easier for yourself compared to managing them individually. A project portfolio helps an organization or group analyze investments towards the success of the project.

5. The roll of the project manager is a position that may vary depending on the project. The suggested skills for all project managers and for information technology project managers are the project management “body of knowledge”, application area knowledge, project environment knowledge, general management knowledge and skills, and soft skills or human relations skills. Leadership is very important for project managers because it allows the leader to focus on the long term goals and the “big picture”. The leader will also help the people below him/her to reach the projects goals and help inspire them.
