To develop a plan, whether the plan is a short or long-term, requires for an organization to implement a strategy that is effective and efficient. Princeton University is seeking for a consultant to assist in developing a sustainability plan into effect that focuses on greenhouse gas. This is one of several environmental issues that the university feels is important, not only to the faculty members and its students, to the overall business strategy and organization. With a sustainability plan in place, the following areas will expect to see some possible effects; for instance, the overall business strategy, organization, and people.

The scientific determination is carbon dioxide emissions impacts the environment in a negative manner, which leads to damaging the environment. The sustainability plan is the focus on reducing greenhouse gases. The university’s mission is to reduce the campus emissions through good strategy principles by 2020 (Princeton University, 2010). The vision is to decrease the metrics ton of carbon dioxide use by 75,000 through the achievement of the goal (Princeton University, 2010). The possible effects include the university increase awareness to prevent excessive use of equipment, with the mindset to follow the mission and vision set forth in this greenhouse gas focus. The plan of the mission and vision has to clearly focus on the awareness and limits of the use of equipment that can decrease the greenhouse gases. From a culture and values perspective, the university has to focus on communicating the information to all students and faculty. The university has to demonstrate the importance of the overall strategy. In other words, if the university does not illustrate the importance of this plan and follow the strategies in place, then the faculty members and students will not place his or her full commitment to decrease the greenhouse...
