The world today is full with more than six billion people. As a people, we come from different regions, backgrounds, and cultural creeds and have a vast number of religious. Our planet as changed so much over the decades, and society and has shaped and shifted with it. The way our society understands and treats the topic “homosexuality,” has gone from something that was taboo and kept on a “hush” basis, to what is now a worldwide debatable issue. Each individual seems to be affected by the issue one way or another. The issue has gone from an open and closed door from what’s considered right from wrong. Each of us as individuals has what is called freewill and we tend to exercise it to the fullest of our capabilities. The uniqueness our brain has, especially when we come across the emotion of love, is where put a definition on where love can take us! To some people, ethic views, morality, and the way they we’re raised, puts a barrier on you can “love” Homosexuality and equality in our world today are at a steady battle, and most of little us knowledge of the history behind of it all. The battlefront goes back far beyond most of us imagine and I will give a brief history ride from then until now. I’m curious to see what factors build up to one of the great debates in our world to say. It is very interesting to see how far we have come, and how much further it seems we have to go when it comes to living and co- existing with homosexuality. A host of issues concerning gay and lesbian people are being affected. Marriage, adoption, and even the right to serve for your country’s military, are all obstacles homosexual individuals are up against. Lesbian, gay bisexual, and transgender people not only seek equality when it comes to legislation, but they also want to be recognized as people first!
