Introduction

This project is aim to help our client Fabulous Fashion (FF) to fulfill its new goal as “to double the revenue and improve the profitability of the business in the next two years”. The design of this project will be matching the two objectives that suggests by FF’s CEO Miss Amanda Chen, which are: reduce cost of the existing business and make processes in a much more efficient way; and widen the channels of marketing to enter new markets. In order to achieve our client’s requirements, we will work closely with FF to get the feedback at the first time.

Background

Fabulous Fashion is an Australian fashion manufacturer and seller where based in Melbourne, its target customers are generally locate in Australia. As small company, capital investment is limited, where sometime capital purchases cannot be made regularly. Cheap import fashion goods where come from Asia has made the small fashion company vulnerable. The CEO is under pressure of making decisions in order to keep profiting or to sell the company. Updated infrastructure and more developed information technologies are what the company currently needs. Currently, the company is headed by CEO Amanda Chen who was former senior buyer of Myer in ladies fashion. To be noticed, Myer is FF’s major client, therefore the CEO’s experience and connection with her former collogue in Myer will help the company maintain the relationship with the big retailer in order to stay in business.

As one of the major retailers in Australia, Myer has lots of requirements for its suppliers to meet its own business standards.
