Riordan Manufacturing, Inc. History
Riordan Manufacturing, Inc.(RMI) was first founded as Riordan Plastic, Inc., in 1991 by Dr. Riordan a chemistry professor, specializing in processing polymers into high tensile strength plastic substrates. In 1992, when the company started manufacturing fans and purchased a plant in Pontiac, MI, the companies name was changed to RMI. The company also expanded into the productions of plastic beverage containers after it acquired another plant in Albany, GA. In 2000, RMI, ventured out of the United States to China where it relocated it’s entire fan manufacturing operations overseas.
RMI Compliance
A corporate compliance plan fine points the impact of internal controls and submit’s a proposal to diminish enterprise risks by applying the principles or recommendations of the Committee of Sponsoring Organization of the Treadway Commission(COSO). RMI created a Corporate Compliance Plan that customizes the organization’s particular field in plastic designs. Riordan is dedicated to managing the organizations programs with the highest degree of business, moral and ethical principals. The RMI corporate compliance plan mission is to insure the awareness of all rules and regulations for the workforce. These rules will include but are not limited to federal and state programs, ethics, privacy and security requirements.
The following compliance plan contains the resources to help resolve any questions about the fitting conduct in the work place, as well as offer a guideline to make sure the completion of all work is done in a legal manner. In order for this compliance plan to become effective it has to have the cooperation of the entire staff.
