Economic Behavior

From an outsiders perspective, life seems to come and go as it pleases. Children are being born as we speak and just as surely as a life comes it will pass as it goes. Life is the precepts of death. The problem with society, though, is not that we are dying physically but that we are dead Spiritual. A life lived in death is a wasted life. How must we steward the precious life we have been given; how can we, you, I, take hold of our life and strip it from the death of society and live a life not wasted in the terminal illness of society?

The answer for you and I rests simply in the Heart of Christ. The LORD has conquered death by giving His only Son, and we must simply choose life! God has given us all talents, and me personally many of them, but the determining factor is how we steward the provisions and abilities we are given. For me, I am a worshiper. I have been given the "5 talents" mentioned in Matthew 25:15, but not that of a coin but of worship. As a passionate lover of Jesus Christ my responsibility as a carrier of the talents I am burdened with the mission of investing all of me, all "5 talents" worth, and reap a return of ten or more for the Kingdom of Heaven. What this looks like is me stepping forward in my calling, and leading others into new realms of worship musically, spiritually, physically, mentally, and eternally.

As this talent flows into every aspect of my life, I recall the command in Genesis to fill the earth and subdue it, have dominion over it and to work it and keep it. I believe that my role in working the land is to be an example of how to work as an act of worship. We can glorify God with our works but in order to do so our hearts must be in Joyful worship of the King. I love working with my hands, splitting wood, felling trees, building new green houses, and I want to use my talents to show people the Joy in working in Worship for The Father in order that work becomes and act of worship rather...
