In the article “Are women better bosses” the author Mary shnack is discussing the issue that working women in positions of authority can be better mangers than men for number of reasons. In her article she stated that Natsha Josefwitz a professor of business administration at the University of California says in her book “paths to power” that women are more sensitive than men to other peoples perspectives and needs. Also she states that women can detect small problems easily and solve them as if she’s an expert in realizing changes and details. In addition Josefwitz argues with the theory that men can mange team skills better because of their experience in team sports, however, girls also have some sort of social skills that could cover the technical skills needed for supervising. Other experts claim that “women in authority could be good enough to create positive working environment, by spending more time with their employees, take calls at home from them”. This free attitude has been criticized. On the other hand, it thought to be a smart way to earn employee’s respect and motivate them more. To conclude, women in authority and managerial position percentage will increase, because of the skill and abilities women has.

I strongly agree with the author that women could make better mangers than men. I believe that women are more willing to explore compromise and accept other people’s opinion. I also support the opinion of the female executive that says that you don’t have to be aggressive and nasty to be a good boss
