Background

Mr. Carlos E. Mazzorin serves as Group Vice President of Covisint Corporation. Mr. Mazzorin has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Magna Mirrors of America, Inc. since January 6, 2003. Mr. Mazzorin joined Magna Donnelly in January 2003 after 30 years at Ford Motor Company. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Magna Mirrors from 2002 to 2007 and Magna Electronics Inc. from 2007 to 2010. At Ford, he served as Group Vice President of Asia ... Pacific Operations, South America Operations and Global Purchasing and previous to that as Group Vice President of Ford, Mexican operations and Global Purchasing. He joined Ford in 1972 and has served in a variety of purchasing and procurement positions of increasing responsibility, including posts in Brazil and Spain. He has led Ford of Mexico and is credited with creating a partnership with Ford suppliers by establishing The Total Cost Management center, where suppliers receive extensive training in lean manufacturing and Ford business strategies. He served as Group Vice President, Asia Pacific Operations, South American Operations and Global Purchasing at Ford Motor Company from 1998 to 2002. He has over 40 years of experience working in progressively responsible supply chain and operations management positions within the automotive industry. He has been Member of the International Advisory Board at Komatsu Ltd. since April 2012. He has been a Director of Magna Donnelly since January 6, 2003 and Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. since July 23, 2004. Mr. Mazzorin has been a Director of Gentherm Incorporated (Also known as Amerigon Inc) since August 24, 2011. He serves as Director of Covisint Corporation and Management Engineers Consulting. He graduated in supply chain from Kettering University and studied Business Administration from Universidad de Buenos Aires.
