My Most Exciting Moment

In your entire life, you don’t really get a lot of exciting moment because it doesn’t come really often. Exciting moment can be sometime when you didn’t expect something that would happen. It can also be the time when people do something that you don’t really expected at all and surprise you or give you the excitement. Exciting moment can be something that is either bad or good happened so sudden that you couldn’t have time to react. So here is the story about the time when I found myself in an exciting situation.

This event happened two years ago when I played soccer for my school, Bellevue Community College. It was a league game between us and Highline Community College, the best team with the least goal against and scored most goals for in the league by that time, and they were still undefeated. We were definitely the underdog; nobody would expect us giving them any trouble. I played goalkeeper in the game for Bellevue. I was playing with my ankle injury, so as couple of our best players. We fought hard from the beginning; it was the level game by zero to zero in the first half, Highline couldn’t create any good chance to score on us. Everybody on our team played with 100+% of effort to try to be level with Highline. We were successful in the first half.

During the half time, our coach, Peter Kirov, told us that we played better than what we were and he was so excited that we could cost Highline troubles. “We fight and we die on the pitch.” He said. It really brought us up and we were so exciting to go back for second half.

Back to the second half, we actually picked up a lot more and we missed couple of the good chances to score the goal. By our effort got rewarded by 70th minute of the game. We scored a free kick by the opponent’s goalkeeper mistake. We went over to the scorer and celebrate like we won the war already. So the last twenty minutes were the slowest twenty minutes in my life. Highline pushed up their defense and...
