SWOT Analysis :

Strength :

1. Network:

GP’s network system is the best and so better than Banglalink. It is expand throughout the country.

2. Brand Image:

As the first telecom company, GP has the greatest brand recognition than any other companies in the industry.

3. Rapid service delivery:

GP customer care service is better than Blink, even after cutting some of the jobs in that sector.

4. Multi skilled executive employees:

GP has some of the most skilled executive officers more than Blink , who can help the company in crisis.

Weakness :

1. Higher call rate:

GP price higher call rate than most other companies, as well as Blink.

2. Inflexible product offers:

Though GP offers most exclusive opportunities, some of its offers are not so flexible to operate, comparing to Blink’s.

Opportunity :

1. Responsive to market trend:

It has always been a great opportunity for GP. They will be able to cope with any change in the market policy or trend. Their executive strength helps to create this opportunity.

2. More customers:

As the very first co in the industry, GP has the priority of having lot more customers than other companies.

Threat :

1. Cutting jobs:

GP has cut jobs of lots of employee, on the other hand Blink hasn’t done this. So this is clearly a threat for GP that they may not get qualified employees in the future.

2. Improved network of Blink:

As Blink has been improving their network availability, GP might lose its customers who will found Blink cheaper.

The most difficult element to develop was, Opportunity.

Because, GP is an existing company in an existing industry or a cash cow company . It has used most of its opportunities successfully and made them its strengths. So it was really difficult to find GP’s new opportunity at this stage.

The easiest element to develop was, Strength.
