1.0 Introduction

We have encountered many promising business opportunities, but most of it requires substantial capital. For students that have interested in the business world, it never hurts try to start doing business with the capital that can be reached, but it can also make use of the raw materials available in the environment to minimize capital. One of business that can be tried is to start a business lantern yarn.

Other than that business is still very new and not many distributors, lanterns yarn business is very easy to make and does not require raw materials that are difficult. Creation does not require a long time and a lot of workforce. This business can be said to promise a great advantage, because in Malaysia as generaly and Kedah in especially , there are many descendants of chinese. In chinese tradition, lanterns is one of attribute that is never separated from them. They hung the lanterns in front of the house in every celebration of the Chinese New Year holidays and other holidays. Beside, people now prefer to use as a replacement light lanterns inside or outside the home. This is because the lanterns has artistic value and beauty. Lanterns can be make with many color and light varies. So for people who do not like bright indirect light, lanterns can be an alternative or choices as a replacement for incandescent bulbs that emit light directly.

Because we had chances in the broad market, so we decided to take a business idea lantern yarn as our business plan. With some explanations in this paper, it is expected that these ideas can be accepted as the design of our business.
