Global Warming

Global warming is huge problem for the Earth and all people in the world, and it is a growing problem. What it means basically is that the climate all over the world is becoming warmer than it should be causing ice to melt in the artic. This melting ice is causing the sea level to rise slowly, but eventually it will be so drastic that it could flood all of New York City and other large areas surrounded by water.

Areas like Florida and Louisiana are very low lands that it is said they will be under water by the end of the century along with Greenland and much other land in the arctic. When the arctic floods and becomes water it will cause the animals that live there to die and maybe even become extinct. It is the home of the polar bears, but there might not be any more polar bears. Greenland is so significant in Global Warming because it contains so much ice that if it melts it will be the main reason sea level is rising.

For those who do not believe Global Warming is real it definitely is, and there is research and evidence to prove it. There is more incidents were the ice may look sturdy and safe, then suddenly it will break off on its own and slowly melt. There was also an incident that was documented where a glacier just fell into the ocean. It became so warm and melted and collapsed right into the ocean, and that is only the beginning of the melting. Unfortunately there is nothing we can really do anymore to prevent global warming from occurring because the damage has already been done.
