a) Time pressure:

If intense time pressure is present then a person would make quick choices without taking a look at the variety of chocolates available in the store. Also, a person might ask one of the store staff for help and purchase an item depending on the store staff’s opinion without thinking about it. For instance, the person may ask where do you have chocolate that is cookie and creams flavored the store attendant may give him or her one bar of chocolate and he or she will buy the first choice directly because of the time pressure available. Thus, the person will make quick decisions without looking into different options. Also, if more than one choice is given then a person may choose based on the packaging of the product rather than on the nutritional value.

b) Time of year:

Time of year does not have a big impact on this type of store as it sells chocolate; however, a consumers shopping my differ depending on a holiday for example if it is Christmas then the store would have chocolates related to Christmas holiday such as the red, green, and silver bells; or if it was valentine’s day then they would have chocolate hearts and products for this occasion. Thus, a consumer might purchase the special type of product they have for the holiday or special occasion during their time in the year. In other words, during valentines a consumer could purchase “hearts and kisses” chocolates or any product that they have related for that day. During normal non occasion day of the year consumers would buy the more standardized products.

c) Time of day:
