Subject: Challenges in communication process and action adopted.

Cc:

Dear Anna,

In relation to the discussion of communication principles in our last class, I would like to admit that being clear yet concise while communicating message is becoming challenging for me. I have made efforts to do better but it doesn’t seem to be working in my case. I have come with a solution to this situation and would like to gather your valuable opinion in this concern.

From the feedbacks that I received as a result of my class presentations on 23rd December 2012, I feel I usually go into details that unnecessarily increase the length of my presentation. I face difficulty in expressing my ideas in concise manner. This result in the listeners to loose interest and the aim of delivering an effective presentation is not being fulfilled by me.

I feel that a topic needs to be addressed properly and clearly from the root level to make it clear and understandable. I believe that if I am not discussing every topic in detail, I am not doing justice to the listeners by giving them incomplete information. This eventually affects my performance in justifying the end result.

To get over with this situation, I have come up with a solution. Now I make efforts to adopt simpler words and sentences. I have subsequently cut down making stories that discourage listeners to stay focused. As well, now I emphasize on diagrams and pictures that are self-explanatory and eventually cut down unnecessory talking and total time of the presentation.

I kindly request you to let me know if this is a correct approach of overcoming the issue and if we can discuss it in a meeting at any time in future based on your conveniences before January 20th.

Best regards,
